Wearable Smart Glove for Personal Health Tracking

Abstract
This research paper mainly focuses on development of smart gloves beneficial mainly to elderly, physically handicapped, and bedridden individuals. User’s or patient's houses, and nursing stations are 2 settings where this concept can be successfully implemented. This Smart Glove can manage such scenarios where the user is unable to communicate in an emergency, and as well as monitor the user’s vitals. Alerts are sent by ESP32 SIM800C module via IoT technology to caretakers by detecting the user’s hand gestures. This Smart Glove also has an alert system which continuously monitors the user's heart rate which can help to detect any abnormal changes. This glove includes embedded temperature, flex, pulse sensors that provide continuous monitoring of user’s vitals and an active indicator on cloud to alert the caretakers of an emergency.
