Paper Title
Practical Considerations on Second-Order Statistics Estimation of 5G Reference Signals in a Custom Scattering Scenarios

Abstract
Abstract - In this paper, we illustrate how second-order statistics are used in signal estimates in a 5G environment. Level crossing rate (LCR) and average fade duration (AFD) are useful as parameters of second-order statistics to demonstrate practical relevance to assessment. The practical aspects for estimating LCR and AFD of 5G reference signals for channel learning processes are shown. The symbolic encapsualtion point 5G (SEP5G) additional tool is used to present 5G signal propagation and estimation of desired parameters in custom scattering scenario. Keywords - Finite State Markov Channel, Level Crossing Rate, Average Fade Duration, Received Signal Strength Indicator, Reference Signal Received Power, Reference Signal Received Quality.
