Abstract : From the past few years, an extreme bombardment of vehicles in the market has shoot up the problem of availability of parking slots. To deal with such issues and to reduce the human efforts a vehicle parking system has been proposed. This is 8051 microcontroller based system. Few sensors are deployed to detect available vacant slot and entry/exit for vehicle parking. An extra advantage of online slot booking with reservation confirmation using gsm module adds effectiveness to this project.
