Paper Title
The Wooden Wall Effect On Shielding Of Rectangular Enclosure

Abstract
In this paper, the effects of an aperture size and linear polarization have been investigated by measured results. Measurement results of three enclosures with different aperture dimensions having 12mm wooden thickness covered with 1mm alumina foil were compared. Since our probes cover the frequency range of 2.6 to 9GHz, measurements were conducted in this frequency range for both vertical and horizontal position of transmitting source antenna with respect to longitudinal aperture orientation. The rectangular apertures have better ESE (Electrical Shielding Effectiveness) than square apertures varying 5 up to 28 dB. These rectangular apertures which have especially long length and short width, have ESE about 39 dB.
