Paper Title
Microstrip Antenna Design for Sub-6 GHz Fifth Generation (5G) Mobile Communication

Abstract
Abstract - This paper presents a micro strip patch antenna for 5G applications. The proposed design is designed to operate at sub-6GHz band to suite the nano-cell BTS nods. The patch circuitry is based on four Moore fractal meta material (MTM) unit cells to enhance the antenna gain-bandwidth products. The antenna design is printed on anFR4 substrate with a relative permittivity of 4.3 and 1.67mm thickness. The proposed antenna size is miniaturized to 60×42mm2after applying the use of a T-resonator and the matching load circuits. The antenna parts are connected to a single feed line based on a micro strip design. The antenna design is simulated using CST microwave studio commercial software package. It is found that the proposed antenna realizes S11magnitudes of -33dB and -25dB at 3.5GHz and 3.9GHz, respectively. The antenna gain is found to be 2dBi at 3.5GHz and 3.18dBiat 3.9GHz.
