Paper Title
VHDL Based FPGA Implementation Of 256- Arydppm For Free Space Optical Link

Abstract
In optical wireless communication systems, modulation schemes such as PPM and DPPM are often used because of their power efficiency. One of the key difficulties of implementing PPM is that the receiver must be properly synchronized to align the local clock with the beginning of each symbol. Therefore it is often implemented as Differential pulse-position modulation. As the interest in the deployment of free space optical (FSO) links gain momentum, it’s becoming important to investigate the implementation of proposed higher state modulation schemes. In optical wireless communication systems, modulation schemes such as PPM and DPPM are often used because of their power efficiency. In this paper, we have tried to go to higher order modulation schemes seeking better results and M-aryDPPM promises significant performance enhancement this paper gives results about an experimental VHDL based FPGA implementation of a 256 – aryDPPM modem. Keywords- Free Space optics (FSO), Differential Pulse Position Modulation, M-aryDPPM, FPGA Implementation.
